David Singh is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience in federal and state courts. His practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, as well as complex insurance defense litigation, including professional and general liability. David is known for his strategic counsel and ability to manage high-stakes litigation from inception through trial and appeal, with expertise spanning discovery, motions practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appellate advocacy. He also has significant proficiency in e-discovery management and risk assessment.
David has extensive experience defending gender, racial, disability, age, and sexual orientation harassment and discrimination actions in federal and state courts and at the administrative level, as well as defending wage payment and FMLA actions in similar forums. He has defended employers against fair credit reporting and equal credit opportunity actions and whistleblower actions.
Beyond litigation, David conducts public and private employer internal workplace investigations. He also provides proactive legal strategies to help clients mitigate risks and prevent legal challenges with respect to labor and employment law at the federal and state level and advises public and private employers on labor relations and employment policies, including CBA compliance and employee handbook review.
David has represented a wide range of clients, including national and international businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, law firms, and accounting firms.
David’s successes include obtaining favorable judgments in breach of contract actions, negligence actions, defending employers and professional firms in employment and malpractice claims, and representing clients in government investigations. He has also counseled clients in eminent domain actions, advised on compliance with employment laws, and secured relief in bankruptcy proceedings for multinational entities.
Active in the legal community, David has served on the Young Lawyer Editorial Board for The Legal Intelligencer and is a member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court.
