  • David J. Pumarejo graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he focused on property law, business transactions, and natural resource law. He was the recipient of the prestigious National Hispanic Bar Association Scholarship and recognized for his outstanding presentation on homeownership at the Graduate and Professional Student Conference.

    Mr. Pumarejo’s legal interests are concentrated on property related issues including residential and commercial transactions, easements, and estate planning. Mr. Pumarejo’s legal practice also includes experience in domestic water well adjudications and entity formations.

    Prior to attending law school, Mr. Pumarejo owned and operated a residential and commercial lending firm in Denver, Colorado. He received his Bachelor of Science in Law and Society from Michigan State University. Before and during college, he was a nationally ranked snowboard competitor and competed in professionally sanctioned events.

    Mr. Pumarejo is a member of the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division, and the Albuquerque Bar Association.

    Outside interests include soccer, tennis, guitar and backcountry snowboarding.
