Summary

David J. Barry is an associate in the Asbestos Litigation group. Prior to joining Weitz & Luxenberg, Mr. Barry served as an assistant district attorney in Nassau County, N.Y., where he handled the prosecution of criminal cases from arraignment through trial. During his tenure as an assistant district attorney, he was assigned to the prestigious DWI Trial Bureau and conducted numerous trials to verdict.

Mr. Barry graduated from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal, and was awarded the Citation of Excellence in Criminal Clinical Courses - faculty recognition as the premier criminal-law practitioner in the Class of 2008.
