David Justin Blair

I started my career as a deputy district attorney in the 18th judicial district (Arapahoe County and Douglas County).  During my time with that office, I litigated hundreds if not thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases.  I learned under some of the best prosecutors in Colorado and obtained a wealth of experience in trying cases of all types to a jury. After gaining significant experience as a district attorney, I decided to take the next step by moving into private practice where I accepted a position at one of the top tax litigation firms in the nation.  For a little over one year, I worked on: sensitive audits of individual taxpayers and businesses, appeals to the Internal Revenue Service, cases before the United States Tax Court, voluntary disclosures, and criminal tax cases. Next, I accepted a position with one of the premiere criminal defense firms in Colorado.  During my five years with that firm I gained invaluable experience defending clients who were charged with anything from driving under the influence to first degree homicide.  I had the privilege of working with some of the best trial attorneys in the nation while serving clients in a wide variety of criminal cases.  The final step in my journey led me to forming The Blair Law Office, LLC, where I am the President and sole owner. Growing up watching my mother and father run a small business, I always knew that owning and running my own firm would be the best fit for the next generation of my family. I am proud to say that in year three the firm has achieved overwhelming success both in and out of the courtroom.   My experience, connections, and passion for litigation continue to serve the firm's clients well in achieving their desired results.  Whether it’s negotiating the best possible deal, or trying a case to a jury, the critical and only objective is always to obtain the best possible result for our clientele.
