David K. Dorenfeld

For three decades, David K. Dorenfeld has been in the trenches of state and federal litigation, with extensive experience in trials and appeals. He doesn’t just practice law—he contributes to the system as a pro tem judge and as a volunteer mediator for Los Angeles County. Clients know him for being practical and intensely invested: he looks at the dispute, the budget, and the desired outcome, then builds a plan designed to get there without wasting time or money. Over the years, that approach has helped clients avoid millions in unnecessary fees and has also produced multiple million-dollar-plus results through courtroom wins and aggressive negotiations. David earned his undergraduate degree at Cal State Northridge and his law degree from Whittier College School of Law, graduating in the top 3% of his class, with scholarships and law review honors.
