David M. Stegall

David Stegall is a well-respected former Assistant District Attorney for Milwaukee County who focuses his practice on helping people who have been accused of a crime or seriously injured. David uses his extensive trial experience to get his clients the best possible results.

David has argued numerous jury trials ranging from simple traffic matters to complex felony cases. David is known as a fierce and respected advocate by attorneys and judges throughout Wisconsin. David is licensed to practice throughout the state and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. David is also a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, American Inns of Court, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

David was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2006 after graduating cum laude from Marquette University Law School. While David was an Assistant District Attorney he led a three person legal team that focused on long term drug and gang investigations. In that capacity, David taught classes to members of various police departments including the Milwaukee Police Department. Prior to attending law school, David served in the United States Army as a Cavalry Officer stationed at various posts throughout the United States. While on active duty, Captain Stegall was selected as one of the best junior officers in his unit.

David is devoted to our community and volunteers at the Veteran’s Law Center and remains active in other veteran’s causes.
