Biography

David Rovang is a dedicated advocate representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases across the State of Washington. With a vast litigation background, he has handled cases in Kitsap, Pierce, King, Jefferson, Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, and Snohomish Counties, extending his reach to clients from Canada, Spain, Japan, and Australia.

Drawing on over four decades of continuous legal practice since 1980, David is esteemed for his ability to connect with people and is highly regarded by both opposing lawyers and judges for his honesty and diligent work ethic. A practitioner who prioritizes client convenience, David is committed to meeting clients wherever it suits them.

Educated at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and the University of Nebraska, David graduated from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa in 1980. During his legal education, he distinguished himself as a visiting scholar at both the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound.

David's legal journey began as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Grays Harbor County, where he quickly advanced to handling felony trial cases within six months. His prosecutorial career encompassed a wide range of felony cases, from violent domestic assaults to vehicular homicide and first-degree murder. Notably, he supervised District Court Prosecutors and also served as an Adjunct Professor at Grays Harbor Community College, teaching constitutional law.

In 1987, David founded his own law firm in Port Orchard, practicing in various areas of law, including personal injury, bankruptcy, real estate, estate planning, family law, criminal defense, and administrative law. His firm grew to include a team of five attorneys, and David continued to emphasize trial work, successfully presenting cases of diverse nature to numerous juries—totaling in the hundreds. Currently, David dedicates all his time to representing injured victims of negligent parties.

Originally from a farm in Nebraska, David was drawn to the Northwest after law school, captivated by the allure of the ocean. Beyond his legal pursuits, he finds joy in sailing, woodworking, and razor clam digging. His passion for helping people navigate challenging times and his genuine enthusiasm for the courtroom exemplify his commitment to the practice of law.
