David S. Rich serves as the founding member of the Law Offices of David S. Rich, LLC, a distinguished Manhattan Employment and Business Litigation Law Firm with offices in Manhattan City and Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Rich brings over two decades of experience to his practice, defending employers, representing businesses, and advocating for executives and professionals in business and employment lawsuits.

With a comprehensive legal approach, Mr. Rich litigates civil, commercial, employment, and securities matters in both federal and state courts in Manhattan and New Jersey. In the realm of labor, employment, and employee benefits, Mr. Rich adeptly handles breach of employment contract actions, wage-and-hour lawsuits, employment discrimination cases, retaliatory discharge actions, sexual harassment cases, labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, non-competition or non-solicitation agreement breaches, workers’ compensation cases, audits, investigations by federal and state labor departments, ERISA actions, and cases related to employee benefit funds.

Beyond litigation, Mr. Rich is actively engaged in drafting business contracts and employment agreements. He plays a pivotal role in assisting employers to create, maintain, and fairly enforce robust workplace policies and procedures.

Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Rich held key roles, including a partnership in a boutique litigation firm in New York City. He also served as an associate at two prominent mid-sized law firms in New York City and New Jersey, respectively. His notable litigation experience includes handling cases such as JLM Chems., Inc. v. Summit Resource Group, Inc., Barron Partners, LP v. Lab123. Inc., and Donohue v. Teamsters Local 282 Welfare, among others.
