Biography

Mr. Moore has been an active litigator since 2004, specializing in personal injury and wrongful death defense, including trucking and transportation accidents, construction site and other workplace accidents, product liability, premises liability, dangerous condition of public property, slip/trip and fall, dog bite, and automobile/motorcycle accidents. He is also experienced in handling property damage litigation, including fires, floods, mudslides and landslides. Mr. Moore’s clients have included cities, major corporations, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and local business owners.

Mr. Moore has prevailed on summary judgment motions in serious injury cases, including successful argument before the California Court of Appeal in 2016. The Court of Appeal’s opinion found that the supporting evidence presented by Moore was “unequivocal” and affirmed the trial court’s judgment. The case can be found at Foran v. Quality Reinforcing, 2016 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 3943 (Cal. App. 4th Dist., May 25, 2016). Mr. Moore also successfully handled appellate matters in protecting a wrongful death defense verdict in Toste v. CalPortland Construction, 245 Cal. App. 4th 362 (2016).

Since 2017, Mr. Moore has handled the day-to-day litigation of large consolidated product liability suits brought against the leading motor coach manufacturer in North America.

Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Southern California in 2001 with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Construction Planning and Management from the School of Engineering. He worked for Southern California home builder SeaCountry Homes from 1999 to 2001, serving as an Assistant Superintendent of Construction at the time of his departure for law school. Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2004 and was sworn in as a member of the California State Bar later that year.

Mr. Moore is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. He was voted a Top Attorney by his peers, as published by Pasadena Magazine, in 2009–2012 and 2014–2017. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2016, 2017 and 2018 (lawyers must be under age 40 to be eligible for the Rising Star distinction).

Mr. Moore started at the Firm in 2017 and joined the Partnership in 2021.
