Biography

Dawn Williams is a Family Law attorney located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with 20 years of experience whose practice consists of divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and adult and minor guardianships.

Ms. Williams is also a licensed legal mediator certified by the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma. Dawn also assists clients in establishing wills, trusts and do not resuscitate orders (DNR's).

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Dawn is dedicated to taking the time to learn what is important to her clients and listen to their concerns. Dawn will always try to resolve disputes calmly and cost-effectively by skillfully negotiating a fair and favorable result for her clients. However, when the other party is unwilling to participate, or the issues preclude negotiation, Dawn is passionate about helping her clients through the process, taking a careful and well-thought-out approach to each case. She knows that when dealing with issues impacting families, the decisions made in court will have an impact for years to come.

Dawn graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations. Following undergrad, she attended the University of Tulsa School of Law and International Law School at Notre Dame University in London, culminating in a Juris Doctorate. She was recognized for her litigation skills as a member of the Moot Court and Trial Teams and was also the president of the legal fraternity, Delta Theta Phi.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Williams became certified as a Licensed Legal Mediator for the State of Oklahoma. She is licensed in the Northern and Western Federal Court districts, is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association and a member of the Family Law and Probate Sections of the Oklahoma County Bar.
