Dawn Marie Delia

Dawn Delia is the founder of Delia Law P.C., a tax law firm representing individuals and businesses in complex federal and state tax controversies. Her practice focuses on resolving matters involving IRS collections, audits and examinations, tax liens and levies, installment agreements, Offers in Compromise, penalty relief, unfiled tax returns, payroll and employment tax liabilities, Trust Fund Recovery Penalties, innocent spouse relief, and other serious tax matters.

Ms. Delia earned her B.A. from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, where her studies included business and federal taxation law. She began her legal career as a commercial business litigator in Washington, D.C., and later practiced in New York City at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, working on sophisticated financial and commercial matters involving multinational corporations.

In 2011, Ms. Delia founded Delia Law to provide individuals and businesses with experienced, personalized legal representation when dealing with the IRS and state taxing authorities. She regularly assists clients with complex collection matters, audits, appeals, payment arrangements, enforcement actions and other tax controversies, helping clients understand their options and develop practical strategies for resolving their tax problems.

Ms. Delia is admitted to practice law in California, New York and Maryland and before the United States Tax Court. As an attorney authorized to practice before the IRS, she represents taxpayers in federal tax matters nationwide.

Delia Law serves clients from offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and Bethesda and represents taxpayers in federal tax matters throughout the United States.
