Biography

Dean Kalant joined the firm in 2009 and is an associate attorney. Dean's practice focuses on commercial litigation and counseling, including but not limited to breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder and partner disputes, restrictive covenants, employment issues and other business-related torts and commercial matters. Dean regularly appears in federal and state courts, before arbitration panels and before local administrative agencies, including but not limited to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Illinois Department of Human Rights. Dean also has substantial experience working with and advising companies and business owners in a vast array of industries in connection with day-to-day business/legal matters, corporate formation, business/real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions and related matters.
