Biography

Deborah D. Cochran has over 34 years of experience assisting individuals, families and business owners with all of their estate planning needs. Debby’s personable approach quickly puts her clients at ease and comfortable to discuss their family situation, helping them focus on what is most important to them. Debby then works with her clients to design the appropriate estate plan to accomplish their goals and minimize taxes.

Debby has been consistently recognized for her expertise and commitment to her clients. Washingtonian magazine has named her a leading estate planning attorney in the Washington DC metropolitan area every year for over 20 years. The final four issues of Worth Magazine/Robb Report named Debby among the top 100 attorneys in the nation serving the needs of affluent individuals and their families.

Debby has been selected as one of the best Trusts & Estates attorneys by The Best Lawyers in America (2005-2024 editions) and included on the Washington DC Super Lawyers list every year since 2005. She has the highest attorney rating from Martindale Hubbell.
