Deborah Cann is a Senior Associate at Martin Clearwater Bell LLP, where she defends physicians, hospitals, and other health care clients in medical malpractice and professional liability cases.

With more than two decades of litigation experience, Deborah has exceptional skills in case management, legal and medical analysis, risk/liability assessment, and development of trial strategies optimized to obtain a favorable verdict.

Prior to coming to MCB, Deborah was a senior associate at a highly regarded litigation defense firm in the New York metropolitan area. There, she represented physicians and health care institutions in a broad spectrum of medical malpractice cases. Earlier in her career, Deborah was a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney.

Deborah received her B.S. from St. John’s University, and earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
