Experience: Representative Matters: Representing a client operating in the luxury hospitality industry against multiple European state-owned entities in complex multi-contract LCIA arbitrations arising from high-profile landmark hotels.; Represented BTA bank $7.5 billion dispute with Mukhtar Ablyazov and Ilyas Khrapunov (including proceedings before the French courts).; Advising Universal Capital Bank of Montenegro on various matters.; Advising the shareholders of Crane Bank in Uganda in relation to special measures taken against the bank by the Central Bank of Uganda and claims arising therefrom.; Advising a client in a family breach of trust claim involving four jurisdictions -underlying trust valued at $3bn; Advised AstraZeneca AB on its agreement with Grunenthal to divest the European rights to Nexium for an upfront payment of $700 million with further sales-related and milestone payments of up to $90 million.; Advised AstraZeneca AB on its agreement with Grunenthal to divest the global rights to Vimovo in all markets excluding the US and Japan for an upfront payment of $115 million and further payments up to another $17 million.; Advised Rentokil Initial plc on its joint venture agreement with Haniel & Cie. Holding Company which created a leading provider of workwear and hygiene services in Europe with combined revenues of c. 1.1bn.; Represented Kore Potash, an advanced stage exploration and development company with its principal asset in the Republic of Congo, on the implementation of a new UK group holding company by way of an Australian scheme of arrangement and advising on its admission to AIM and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.;
