Biography

Dennis John Egitto, Jr. is a Partner in the firm’s West Palm Beach and Key West offices. He practices in the areas of general civil litigation, commercial litigation, construction, personal injury litigation, catastrophic injury, employment law, environmental law, condominium and homeowners’ association law, liquor liability defense, professional malpractice, security negligence, marine/admiralty, medical malpractice, trucking accident defense, sex trafficking/human trafficking civil defense, vehicle negligence, and premises liability.

Mr. Egitto attended Florida State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in History, cum laude. While at Florida State University, Mr. Egitto was enrolled in the Florida State University Honors Program and graduated with honors, receiving the Florida State University Honors Medallion. During that period, he served as an intern at the Foundation for Florida’s Future where he spent much of his time assisting the organization lobby for education reform.

Mr. Egitto received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, cum laude. During law school, he was a member of the St. Thomas University School of Law Moot Court Team, and was elected as a Senator of the Student Bar Association. Mr. Egitto was also on the Dean’s list, and earned the CALI Book Award for the highest grade in Florida Civil Practice.

While in law school, Mr. Egitto served as a Law Clerk at Cole, Scott & Kissane. He also served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Judge Beatrice Butchko of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court Civil Division. Additionally, Mr. Egitto served as a Research Assistant to Professor Katherine Van Tassel in the field of Public Health Law.
