Derek J. Warner is an Associate in the Phoenix office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. where he focuses his practice on insurance defense, first party property defense, employment defense, professional liability, construction defect litigation, SIU, bodily injury defense, bad faith, estate planning, automobile liability, and general civil litigation. Prior to moving to Arizona, Derek practiced in Metro-Detroit, Michigan primarily as a civil litigator specializing in insurance defense with additional experience as a Plaintiff’s personal injury attorney.Derek was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy. Derek received his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University Law School in 2017 and also his Master of Business Administration from Valparaiso University College of Business in 2018.When he has the opportunity, Derek spends his time with his family. He is very active in his spare time and enjoys various hobbies including hiking, disc golfing and golfing, coaching and playing basketball, and traveling. Derek previously played college basketball and coached varsity girls basketball in Michigan.Derek is licensed to practice law in the states of Arizona and Michigan
