Biography

Deron is highly experienced and well-versed in a variety of legal areas, including personal injury, estate planning and probate. With several years of experience as an associate with an insurance defense firm, he understands your case from both sides. Trust in his expertise to achieve the best outcome for your case.

Born and raised in South-End Louisville, KY as the middle of nine children, Deron and the Schulten family have established deep roots in the city. He is 1992 graduate of St. Xavier High School and a 1996 graduate of Bellarmine College with Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology.

In 2007, while working full-time as a married father of two young sons, he decided to follow his father’s footsteps and attend University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. Deron graduated from the part-time/evening program in 2011, and quickly joined the firm of Schiller, Osbourn, Barnes & Maloney. After gaining valuable experience, he joined his father to form Schulten Law Office in May 2015.

In his free time, Deron enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his wife, Jenny, and their 4 children.
