Deron Matthew Schulten

Deron Schulten brings a well-rounded legal background to every client he represents. He handles matters ranging from personal injury to estate planning and probate, and his years with an insurance defense firm give him a valuable perspective on how cases are evaluated from the other side. A Louisville native raised in the South End, Deron is the middle of nine children, and his family’s roots in the community run deep. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1992 and earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology from Bellarmine College in 1996. In 2007, while working full-time and raising two young sons, Deron decided to pursue law school at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. He completed the part-time evening program and graduated in 2011, then joined Schiller, Osbourn, Barnes & Maloney to sharpen his practice. In May 2015, he teamed up with his father to open Schulten Law Office. Outside of work, Deron enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his wife, Jenny, and their four children.
