Biography

Derya is dedicated to providing strategic and compassionate legal representation in the areas of immigration and business law. A graduate of Touro University Law School 2024, Derya brings a strong foundation in legal principles and a passion for advocating for clients in complex legal matters.

Before earning a Juris Doctor, Derya completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Stony Brook University in 2016. During law school, Derya distinguished herself academically, earning a CALI Award in Accounting Law and serving as an officer of the Intellectual Property Law Society.

Committed to hands-on legal service, Derya participated in the Bankruptcy Law Clinic in law school, gaining valuable experience in financial and debt-related legal issues. Additionally, She volunteered with SEPA Mujer, assisting in the drafting and submission of U-VISA petitions for victims of domestic violence.

Fluent in Turkish, Derya is able to serve a diverse clientele, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Outside of work, Derya enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and attending workout classes
