Biography

Devika M. Moonasar is a Florida-licensed immigration attorney who has devoted her entire legal career to U.S. immigration law. Since 2014, she has represented clients worldwide in family, business, and complex immigration matters.

Devika M. Moonasar was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014 and has since dedicated her career exclusively to Immigration Law. With over a decade of experience, she has successfully represented clients of all nationalities in virtually every area of U.S. immigration, from family-based petitions and citizenship to complex deportation defense and business immigration matters.

Attorney Moonasar earned her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2011 and went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014. During law school, she was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, where she embraced the values of compassion, courage, and service to the legal profession and community. It was through this work that she developed her deep commitment to treating every client with dignity, empathy, and respect.

Licensed by the Florida Bar, Attorney Moonasar is authorized to practice immigration law nationwide before the Immigration Courts, U.S. Consulates, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). She is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and continues to serve on the USCIS West Palm Beach Field Office Liaison Committee, where she helps strengthen communication between attorneys and immigration officials. She has also contributed as a member of AILA’s Executive Office of Immigration Review Committee. Her diverse professional background includes working with boutique immigration law firms as well as an international Fortune 500 company, giving her unique insight into both personal and corporate immigration needs. She has successfully defended clients facing removal proceedings and criminal immigration consequences, while also securing lawful permanent residency, U.S. citizenship, and nonimmigrant visas for countless individuals, families, and professionals.Attorney Moonasar has earned recognition as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past three consecutive years, an honor reserved for only a small percentage of attorneys who demonstrate excellence in practice. Most recently, she was featured in Palm Beach Illustrated as a Top Lawyer in Immigration Law, highlighting her reputation as a trusted advocate in her field.
