Life is full of surprises, and family life is no different.

As a child of adopted parents, I learned early on that family law provides a unique way to help people through some of the toughest times of their lives.

Now, as a Family Law Attorney and the only Attorney and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) in Southwest Virginia, I work closely with my clients every step of the way to guide them toward a new stage in life.

After graduating from the University of Virginia and obtaining my J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, I began my career as a staff attorney for legal aid. I gained valuable insight into the legal system and the importance of going the extra mile for the people we serve.

I soon realized that I wanted to focus my efforts on my true passion, family law, and I made the decision to open my own firm.

For many people, their family law attorney is the only person they can turn to when their life turns upside down.

But the legal system is impersonal, technical, and confusing.
