A graduate of The Bolles School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University before pursuing his law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law.DeWayne began his legal career in Miami-Dade County as an Assistant State Attorney under the leadership of Honorable Katherine Fernandez Rundle. He later served as Assistant Staff Counsel for the Florida Bar’s Miami Office and worked across the civil, criminal, and family law divisions.
