Biography

Diana E. Rafael is an Associate at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale West office. She concentrates her practice on state and federal civil litigation matters, including general civil litigation, business/commercial law, employment and labor law, civil rights law, and condominium and homeowners’ association law.

Ms. Rafael received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, graduating number 16 in her class. During law school, Ms. Rafael earned a place on the Dean’s List every semester, and also received the Book Award in Torts for obtaining the highest grade. She competed on both FIU Law’s Trial Team and Moot Court team, and was a recipient of the Betty G. Reader Graduate Scholarship. Ms. Rafael also served as Treasurer of FIU’s Federal Bar Association from 2016-2017, and subsequently served as Vice President from 2017-2018. Ms. Rafael received her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, with a minor in Psychology, from Nova Southeastern University, graduating on the Dean’s List with distinction.
