My practice is limited to estate planning, business planning, and long term care planning. I help families and business owners plan for the future and protect the well-being of their loved ones. I help clients preserve their wealth, protect their assets, and minimize taxes and legal fees. I also advise families regarding incapacity planning and special needs planning; I believe that we all want to live a life of meaning and purpose, to have a positive impact on the people in our lives, and to leave a legacy. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a registered nurse in critical care, the operating room, and open heart surgery. After I became an attorney, I represented clients in matters involving personal injury, medical malpractice, and dangerous pharmaceutical drugs. I have seen the devastating effects of accidents, injuries, illnesses, and untimely deaths on my clients and their families; As an attorney and a registered nurse, I understand the importance of planning ahead for the unexpected. I help my clients control and minimize the risks. I help them protect their families. I help them protect their businesses. I do this by drawing upon my legal expertise in trust and estate law, tax law, and probate law.
