Biography

Dion Moorman was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, where he graduated from Owensboro Senior High School. He attended Murray State University and served as a Student Ambassador while receiving the school's Dr. Marvin Mill's Scholarship. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law, where he served as a member of the Journal of Law and Education.

He practiced law in Louisville for 2 years before returning to his hometown. Shortly after his return to Owensboro, he had the privilege of being trained and mentored by a Kentucky personal injury legend, Charles E. Moore. For 15 years he practiced complex personal injury law in federal and state courts across Western Kentucky. He gained valuable experience in bodily injury cases, including but not limited to the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability and auto wrecks. Through his litigation experience, he has become aware that each client is different and tailors his approach to each case accordingly.

In addition to practicing law, Dion teaches business law and employment law, as an adjunct professor, at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Also, he serves as a board member of the Owensboro Public School's Foundation of Excellence.

He attends Blessed Mother Catholic Church and has been blessed with two healthy children, Adelyn and Mara, and devotes most of his time away from the practice of law on activities with the kids.
