Biography

Don Pitman is the founder and principal of The Pitman Law Offices, LLC, based in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Since earning his J.D. with honors from Suffolk University Law School in 1995, Don has dedicated his legal career to representing families across the North Shore and Merrimack Valley in Probate & Family Court matters. Growing up in Rockport and holding a degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Don brings local insight and academic excellence to his practice. He has guided hundreds of clients through significant family transitions with skill and compassion. Don serves as the current president of the Greater Newburyport Bar Association and is an accomplished speaker and educator, regularly presenting at bar association seminars and for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. Recognized as a "local star" and contributing author to “Ethical Lawyering in Massachusetts,” Don remains active within various legal organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
