Doug Malek

Doug Malek is a true Ohio native, born and raised in Westerville as the youngest of eight kids. That big-family environment clearly built a strong work ethic, as he excelled at Westerville North and St. Charles before heading to Miami University for a finance degree. In 2004, he married his college sweetheart in a beautiful ceremony in South Africa before returning home to tackle law school. Doug attended Cleveland-Marshall on a scholarship and even won a top award for his work in workers’ compensation law, a field he now focuses on almost exclusively. He’s incredibly passionate about making sure Ohio’s workforce gets the medical benefits and pay they deserve. His skill hasn’t gone unnoticed, either. He was recently named one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers. When he’s not fighting for injured workers, Doug is a total family man. You’ll usually find him at home with his wife, Minette, or playing in the park with his two young boys, Aidin and Malcolm. He’s a knowledgeable advocate who really understands what’s at stake for the families he represents.
