Douglas P. Perry

Douglas P. Perry is a founding member of the firm. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from St. John’s University in 1978, his Bachelor of Arts Degree from CW Post College in 1974 and his Associates Degree from Concordia College in 1972. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is presently a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. He was named by Long Island Pulse Magazine a “Legal Eagle” for the years 2010 and 2011. He is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubbell and more recently received pre-eminent status from Martindale Hubbell. In his 40 years of practice, he has specialized in the defense of high exposure cases involving medical malpractice, dental malpractice, nursing home negligence, hospital negligence and automobile liability. He has successfully handled an innumerable number of jury trials over the course of his career involving a wide variety of matters including medical malpractice, dental malpractice, podiatric malpractice, chiropractic malpractice, nursing home malpractice, hospital malpractice , premises liability and motor vehicle liability in both State and Federal Courts.
