Biography

Doug is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and has been representing accident victims in Indian River County since 1992. Doug believes that communication and trust are the keys to a successful attorney-client relationship. For that reason, Doug makes it a priority to take the time to listen to his clients’ concerns and to make sure that his clients understand the legal issues in their cases.

Doug is very involved in community service, especially in projects benefiting children. Doug has volunteered as a guardian ad litem, representing the interests of children in dependency and family law cases. Doug is also a frequent speaker in local schools and coordinates the law firm’s holiday card contest for special education students. Doug has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida and has written about premises liability law for the Florida Justice Academy Journal.

Doug has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee which investigates ethical complaints against attorneys.
