Dr. Sharon B. Siegel, M.D., J.D.

Dr. Sharon B. Siegel is a native of New York, New York with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She specializes in cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery and has certifications from The American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Siegel has a medical license in New York, Florida, California, and Texas, and has worked in many hospitals throughout those states. In addition to her work in medicine, she is an attorney who is licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Throughout her career, Dr. Siegel has been heavily involved in the academic community as well. She is the author of several articles and abstracts, has received thousands of dollars in research grants, and worked as an assistant professor of surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine. The titles of her past presentations include “Negligence in the Operating Room — Setting the Scene in the OR: Who are the Players?” and “Negligence in the Operating Room — When Healing Goes Awry.”
