Dr. Suresh K. Nekuri, M.D., J.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Suresh K. Nekuri, M.D., J.D., M.B.A. is board-certified doctor and attorney licensed to practice in the state of Tennessee. Dr. Nekuri attended the NTR University of Health Sciences, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine-Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1994. From 1997 through 2001, he completed his residency at St. Luke’s Hospital and obtained his M.D.

In 2003, Dr. Nekuri attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he earned his M.B.A. in 2004 before going on to pursue his law degree at Widener University School of Law. He earned his J.D. and received a health law certification, graduating in 2008.

Dr. Nekuri’s medical experience is vast, spanning more than 26 years. He served as Medical Director/Physician at Covenant Health System, Chief Physician Designer for “CPOE with Orderease” at Iatric Systems, Hospitalist at Covenant Health, and, most recently, Hospitalist/Attending at VA Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Dr. Nekuri is also the owner/CEO at Hospital and Doctor Offices Ratings and Analytics (HADORA), a cloud-based website that provides a platform for medical providers to rate their employers/employment experiences based on several factors, including administration, contract, and ancillary services, among others. Dr. Nekuri is also the owner and a physician at Patient’s Clinic at both its Morristown and Sneedville locations.

In his legal career, Dr. Nekuri serves as the owner and an attorney at Med-Justice Consultants. There, he serves as co-counsel with fellow attorneys on medical malpractice cases. Dr. Nekuri frequently provides his expert medical opinion on issues involving the standard of care, causation as it applies to medical malpractice cases, and the necessity/reasonability of medical expenses, among other matters. Dr. Nekuri also provides independent impairment ratings of injured individuals based on independent medical examinations. He also advises physicians and other medical providers on practice set-up and contracts.
