Biography

Drew K. Ichikawa joined Kobayashi Sugita & Goda in 2023. He focuses his law practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Insurance Litigation, Liquor Licensing, and Immigration Law.

Education

In 2023, Mr. Ichikawa earned his Juris Doctor from the William S. Richardson School of Law and also graduated magna cum laude with a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Shidler College of Business.

At Richardson law school, Mr. Ichikawa served as the Historian for the Phi Delta Phi law fraternity. Mr. Ichikawa also worked as a legal intern at Island Insurance company while attending law school.

In 2019, Mr. Ichikawa graduated cum laude from the University of Hawaii at Manoa receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Management, and International Business. Prior to attending Shidler College of Business, he attended University of Hawaii at Hilo, where he was a pitcher and team captain for the NCAA Division II Baseball team.

Mr. Ichikawa is a graduate of Iolani High School, Class of 2013.

Mr. Ichikawa is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Hawaii. Mr. Ichikawa will serve as the Vice President of Community Development for the Honolulu Chapter of JCI Hawaii in 2025.
