Drew P. Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan concentrates in the areas of tax, corporate law and estate planning and administration. He provides comprehensive corporate and tax planning advice to area businesses. He also serves as counsel to many syndicated partnerships formed to develop affordable housing. He represents corporate and individual clients in administrative hearings before the Internal Revenue Service and state authorities. Mr. Kaplan is also experienced in all areas of estate planning, including developing sophisticated business succession plans. He is a frequent speaker on a wide range of tax matters, having taught a course in corporate reorganizations as a member of the faculty of Bryant College's Graduate Tax Program. He is a member of the Rhode Island bar. Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of Wesleyan University cum laude and the Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Kaplan is one of the founders of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP. He was formerly a partner in the Providence law firm of Tillinghast Licht & Semonoff, LLP.
