Dustan Alexander Davidson

Known for his precision and strong courtroom presence, Dustan Davidson is a criminal defense attorney who takes a thoughtful, strategic approach to protecting his clients. He graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School and began his career in civil litigation, working on medical malpractice cases that demanded careful analysis, strong writing, and meticulous attention to detail. While in law school, Dustan’s interest in criminal law grew through Trial Advocacy with the Honorable Laura Crivello, and he later interned in her courtroom to gain hands-on experience with trial practice. He also worked as a research assistant to Professor Gregory O’Meara, S.J., helping with scholarship focused on political white-collar crime and democratic institutions. Dustan then started his criminal law career in the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted a wide range of cases and learned how prosecutors evaluate evidence and build strategy. That experience gives him a meaningful edge in defense work today. Dustan has developed particular strength in Fourth Amendment litigation, including challenging unlawful searches, arrests, and filing suppression motions.
