Ed Malek

Ed Malek is the founding heart of Malek & Malek, and his story is one of true grit. While earning his law degree at Capital University in the late 60s, he was working a full-time job during the day and serving in the U.S. Army Reserves. That level of dedication followed him into his legal career. After serving as an assistant prosecutor, Ed opened his own doors in Columbus back in 1971. For over four decades, he has been a steady voice for people dealing with the fallout of serious car accidents and workplace injuries. What’s really special is that Ed now gets to practice alongside three of his sons, James, Doug, and Kip. Outside of the courtroom, Ed has been married for 47 years and is a proud father of eight. He’s a man of faith and a big history buff who loves getting out into nature. When you talk to Ed, you’re talking to someone who has spent his entire life serving his country and his community, and he brings that lifetime of wisdom to every case he touches.
