Edward F. De Varona

Edward F. De Varona, a seasoned attorney, was born in Weehawken, New Jersey to first-generation Cuban immigrants and grew up in South Florida. His passion for both history and medical science led him to pursue a bachelor's degree in history, which he earned cum laude from the University of Miami in 1987. Building upon his solid foundation, he went on to obtain a J.D. degree from Northeastern University College of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. Immediately after graduating, Edward served as a staff attorney at the Federal District Court of Appeals, 3d District in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His dedication to the legal profession was recognized when he was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year.

In 1993, Edward returned to Florida and began working at Hoadley & Noska, P.A., where he specialized in personal injury cases and established the firm's worker's compensation division. Later on, he joined Lloyd, Hoskins & Pierce P.A., the largest and most progressive personal injury and worker's compensation law firm on the Treasure Coast. During his tenure there, Edward represented injured migrant workers, solidifying his reputation as a fierce advocate for the rights of the injured. With over sixteen years of experience in this field, he has honed his expertise to an exceptional level. Throughout his career, Edward has successfully represented numerous clients across Florida and has conducted over 50 final hearings, consistently securing permanent total disability benefits for his clients with catastrophic injuries.

Edward De Varona maintains active involvement in professional associations and memberships that contribute to his growth and knowledge in the legal field.
