Biography

Edward J. Morales is the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office of Borton Petrini, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree in History from University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1992.

Edward is a member of the California State Bar, Los Angeles County Bar Association and admitted to practice in United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States District Court, Central District of California. His primary emphasis at Borton Petrini, LLP is civil litigation, employment law, insurance defense, estate planning, trust litigation, personal injury, and premises liability.

As a Los Angeles lawyer, Edward brings a wide variety of legal experience to Borton Petrini, LLP, which includes employment law, trust litigation, estate planning, construction defect, general tort liability, government tort liability, products liability, and medical malpractice.

He has experience as a Los Angeles lawyer in litigating a wide variety of matters, including defending manufacturers in product liability cases, personal injury defense, defense of property owners in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) cases, and defense property owners against allegations of unsafe/dangerous conditions, as well as employment matters and probate and trust litigation.

Outside the office, Edward has been a long-standing member of the Tournament of Roses Association and currently serves on its Executive Committee. He will serve as President of the 2024 Tournament of Roses. Currently, he is on the School Board of St. Philip the Apostle School in Pasadena.

He has also served on the Boards of Directors of several Pasadena non-profit organizations including Hathaway Sycamores and Foothill Family Services.

Edward is a past President and former Board Member of the Pasadena Jaycees.

Edward and his wife, Lisa Morales, have two daughters, Lainey and Jessie.
