Biography

Edward Krakauer understands the stigma and adversity facing insurance companies and ensures they are given a fair opportunity to defend their cases. Edwards’ clients enjoy his responsive and honest approach as he leads them toward the best options with the best results. He hits the ground running when taking on new lawsuits, and his meaningful and tailored discovery keeps cases moving when opposing counsel is non-responsive or evasive.

From start to finish, Edward handles cases in construction defect, first-party insurance, personal injury, and premises liability. Edward is involved in all aspects of claim management including depositions, motion hearings, and trial preparation. He is dedicated to ensuring all clients’ concerns are addressed and handled in a timely manner, and clients are always in the loop with updates and decisions.

Edward was raised in Israel but moved to South Florida in middle school. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dog. He likes traveling and is an avid sports fan, having visited all 30 active Major League Baseball stadiums.

Representative Matters: Obtained summary judgment in favor of the Insurer finding that the new Assignment of Benefits (AOB) statute requires AOB suits to strictly comply with the procedural requirements of Florida Statute 627.7153 regardless of the date of inception of the policy.; Obtained a complete defense verdict on behalf of Galloway's client in a Hurricane Irma residential first-party case. Each side had multiple expert witnesses, and, after hearing from both sides, the court ultimately sided with Galloway with a complete defense verdict within 45 minutes.
