Biography

Elaine Jarvis earned her law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1997. Early in her career, she practiced in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, gaining experience in litigation, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, and contract law. After stepping away from legal practice to raise three children and manage several businesses, including a publishing venture, Elaine returned to law with renewed passion in 2015.

She moved to Front Royal and joined Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc., where she assisted low-income clients with consumer law and estate planning issues. Elaine takes pride in helping individuals facing serious legal challenges, from keeping a roof over their heads to protecting their financial stability. In 2020, she launched Jarvis Law PLLC to continue serving clients in Northern Virginia, Winchester, Manassas, and the surrounding areas.

Outside of her legal career, Elaine is an accomplished author of ten novels, an award-winning blogger, and a licensed pilot. She enjoys hiking, flying, running, and traveling, embracing the adventure of life beyond the city. Elaine welcomes clients from all backgrounds and belief systems, fostering an inclusive and compassionate legal practice.
