Eleftheria Zachariades

Ele Zachariades is a partner in the firm's Land Use & Zoning practice group. Ms. Zachariades is an urban planner and planning lawyer with a diverse educational and professional background in both the public and private arena of land use and planning.Ms. Zachariades provides due diligence studies, strategic land planning, development approvals and entitlements and assists clients in understanding local zoning codes and comprehensive plans. Ms. Zachariades advises clients on the environmental, planning, political and legal context of their properties and then develops a strategic plan of action to most effectively secure favorable action. Ms. Zachariades guides clients through the process of obtaining or protecting their development entitlements, including large scale projects and DRI's. Ms. Zachariades frequently represents clients in obtaining a wide range of approvals before municipal zoning boards, such as rezonings, variances, comprehensive plan amendments, plats, and site plan approvals. Ms. Zachariades also represents clients in the negotiation and execution of development agreements with local government and the Department of Community Affairs.
