Elia M. Vazquez

Elia M. Vazquez is an attorney on Varner & Brandt’s Labor & Employment and Business Litigation Teams, based in Riverside. She earned her law degree from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she distinguished herself as a Judicial Extern for the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Elia’s legal experience also includes clerkships at Pepperdine’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, a prominent consumer class action law firm, a personal injury firm, and Varner & Brandt LLP.

During her time at Pepperdine, Elia contributed as a member of the Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship and the Law. She also served as President of Pepperdine’s National Latino/a Law Student Association and Vice-Chair for the Mexican American Bar Association.

Before attending law school, Elia graduated with High Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in Political Science. While at UCSB, Elia was selected for the UC Leadership in Social Justice and Public Policy program, through which she developed leadership skills and received professional training in Mexico City and Sacramento.

In her free time, Elia enjoys camping by the beach, spending time with family, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
