Attorney Elisa Sturkie joined Raleigh Divorce Law Firm in September 2025.

Elisa is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law. Prior to joining Raleigh Divorce Law Firm, she worked as a child welfare attorney in New York City. Her experiences serving New York City families in court informed and solidified her interest in family law, child protection, and child custody.

While in law school, Elisa was a staff member and contributing editor on the North Carolina Law Review. She also served on the Helga Pedersen international law moot court team, where she argued before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.

A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Elisa attended Tufts University and graduated as a triple major in English literature, Spanish literature, and Peace and Justice Studies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking.
