About Attorney Awards

Biography

Elizabeth’s practice has focused exclusively on family law since 2016. She handles matters including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, business valuation, step-parent adoption, premarital agreements, protective orders, and enforcement issues. Her cases have included complex issues such as mental health concerns, domestic abuse, alcohol and drug addiction, parental alienation, financial tracing, and unilateral dissipation of assets.

Elizabeth believes that litigation is often the last resort in handling family law matters. She encourages her clients to consider alternatives to litigation, including lawyer negotiation, mediation, and collaborative law. However, Elizabeth recognizes that some cases are not appropriate for settlement and litigation is necessary for resolution. Regardless of how your matter is resolved, Elizabeth will zealously advocate for a resolution that serves your best interests, including consideration of your financial, emotional, and legal rights and needs.

Elizabeth currently practices in Arlington County, City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County in circuit courts and juvenile and domestic relations courts.

Elizabeth resolved an area of my property settlement that the other party had not completed. If I would have known about Elizabeth prior to my hiring another attorney, I would have been left in a bet...
