Biography

Elizabeth Barney is a senior associate attorney at WSHB's Atlanta, Georgia, office. Her practice is focused on insurance coverage and complex civil litigation.

Elizabeth is an Atlanta native. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in English. She then attended Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, receiving the merit-based John E. Ryan scholarship and the Pro-bono Award for her commitment to pro-bono work.

She is a member of the Georgia Bar and has a varied background having previously practiced federal employment and immigration law. Elizabeth has a working knowledge of the Spanish language and enjoys hiking and kayaking while outside the office.
