Biography

Elizabeth Shyer’s legal practice is concentrated on construction defense and general liability litigation.

Elizabeth’s practice involves representing major corporations in personal injury litigation, including New York Labor Law cases and premises liability matters. Elizabeth uses a detail-oriented approach, coupled with a strong sense of urgency to yield the best results for her clients.

Elizabeth holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where she was a Noreen E. McNamara Scholarship Recipient. During law school, Elizabeth was a Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and worked in the Right to Housing Litigation Clinic. She also interned in the chambers of King’s Counsel Paul Dale in Auckland, New Zealand.

Elizabeth believes that there is no substitute for open communication with her clients and she focuses on the nature and details of her clients’ business to obtain the best customized results.

Elizabeth is a dual citizen of the United States and New Zealand. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys tennis, experimenting with new recipes and spending time with family and friends.
