Biography

Emily is an attorney in the firm’s Casualty Department representing many large insurance carriers and their insureds. She handles all phases of the litigation process and effectively represents clients in matters involving construction defects, trucking and transportation liability, fraud/special investigation claims, premise liability, and other general litigation matters. She has experience successfully litigating numerous cases to the clients desired resolution, including successful dispositive motions in both Ohio trial court and court of appeals.

Emily is committed to serving her clients’ best interests and brings valuable experience from previously defending large corporations throughout complex litigation, including construction defect cases and strategic real estate matters. Her experience with electronic discovery and managing large cases contributes to her efforts to always provide clients with effective and efficient results.

Emily is a graduate from Arizona State University earning a B.A. in Justice Studies, with minors in both business and philosophy. Emily received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Law where she received the Journal of International Laws Outstanding Note of the Year award for her note, Social Media: A Good Alternative, for Alternative Service of Process.
