Biography

Eric Jontz, an associate, focuses his practice on commercial litigation, banking, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy. Eric is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

He served two terms as President of the Orange County Young Republicans. Eric worked in Washington, D.C., for former Congressman John Mica and interned with former Ohio Congressman Rob Portman and then-Florida Senate President Toni Jennings.

Eric volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem for dependent children in Orange County and was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for his work in 2015-16. He is Vice President of the Orange County Bar Association Foundation and is Chairman of the James Madison Institute’s Central Florida Board of Advisors. An Eagle Scout, Eric serves as the Advisor to the local Law & Government Explorers Post sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association Foundation.
