Eric Blankenship: Attorney with Blankenship Law, LLC

Biography

Eric Blankenship became a lawyer in 2002 and went straight into prosecution because he wanted to serve his community and learn the courtroom from the inside. Over the next 17 years, he built his trial skills in front of judges and juries, trying well over 100 court and jury trials involving everything from DUIs and robberies to sex crimes and homicide. Along the way, his perspective changed. He saw that many people accused of crimes weren’t “bad people”, they were people who made a mistake, struggled with addiction, or made a decision in a moment of anger. He also saw a gap in the system: prosecutors often have police reports and witness statements, but they rarely hear the accused person’s full story. Eric wanted to be the lawyer who argues for the person, not just the charge. That’s why he started Blankenship Law, LLC to stand up for the accused, protect their rights, and help them avoid consequences that can follow them for life. He’s known for listening closely, explaining the process clearly, and fighting for the best possible outcome.
