Eric Hamilton Hintz

Eric H. Hintz is a criminal defense attorney in Sacramento, California.  Mr. Hintz represents clients throughout Northern California in their cases involving all types of felony and misdeameanor crimes including, but not limited to white collar criminal defense, DUI/DWI, assault and battery, sex crimes and domestic violence. He has been selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer in the area of Criminal Defense for twelve consecutive years beginning in 2007 through 2019. A native of Sacramento, California, Mr. Hintz received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis. He pursued and received his law degree from the University of California at San Francisco, Hastings College of the Law. Upon graduation from law school in 1982, Mr Hintz returned to Sacramento where along with his wife, Ronda, raised four boys.  One of those boys, Brandon, has joined him in the practice of law. With more than 30 years of legal experience, Mr. Hintz remains committed to a hands-on approach to the practice of law.  New business comes amost exclusively from referrrals from former clients or other attorneys.
